Victorian Gold Engraved Bird Earrings

A rare and stunning pair of 9ct gold earrings, in the shape of a coin with a fluted edging. These beautiful earrings date from the late 180s (the wire hooks are a later replacement). The earrings feature a delicate engraving of a bird and flowers to the front, with a plain back.
