Antique Japanese Lacquered Opening Egg Pendant with Chicken

This rare little antique Japanese lacquered bone pendant decorated with a hen on one side and golden cockerel on the other. The pendant unscrews to reveal a tiny carved bone chick hidden inside. The bale of the pendant is base metal and the jump ring is 9ct gold. Would look fabulous paired with your choice of gold chain.
